I must be a complete idiot. How does bookmarking work in brave mobile? The bookmark icon just brings up an empty folder and gives no options to add new bookmarks. What am i missing?

There's no star in the address bar, and when you click on it the URL goes away and it becomes a blank search bar.

I've been using brave for a few years now, just got a new phone. Can't work out how to bookmark anything.

Have googled it for like an hour and still can't work out how to make a new bookmark.

Tldr: am I really this silly or am i missing something about making a bookmark

Shocked there is no toolbar for bookmarks.

So now I have to click on the 3 dots, select bookmarks, select the folder, and then the bookmark?

In other browsers I can either directly click on the bookmark from the toolbar or put a folder in there and select from there.

Is there really no better way to handle bookmarks on android?

I want to show my favorite sites on the homepage. How do I do that? I can currently only see my 4 most visited sites, which isn't what I want. I want to choose then myself and have more than 4.

I've looked through the menus, and can't find a star button, not even in the URL field.
